The installation cost as well as the cost of materials crown molding is, more often than not, less than that of other remodeling projects such as carpeting or painting. There is simply more impact for the time and money used. The advantages of polyurethane moldings over traditional wood crown are:

- Large collection of sizes. Our plain crown moldings are offered in a huge array of sizes. Whether you are remodeling a bathroom, bedroom or great-room, you will certainly find a size to fit the proportion of your living space. Our plain crown moldings vary from under than 3” high to just under 10” high as measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the molding. You will not find this many sizes and profiles at your local lumber yard.
- Many profiles to choose from. We are confident that you will not find a larger selection of profiles than these. Our profiles emulate classic lines and traditional motifs.
- Urethane crown moldings are primed and ready to paint.
Installation Installation for polyurethane crown molding is similar to that of wood mouldings. There is a difference, however: urethane moldings should be fastened to the wall and ceiling with a construction adhesive.. A few finish nails should be used to hold the moldings until the adhesive cures. After the glue cures use a putty for the holes and painter’s caulking for joints and where the molding contacts the wall and ceiling. Sand the joints as you would wood moldings
