There is no simpler way to decorate a room than with crown moulding. The installation cost as well as the cost of materials crown moulding is, more often than not, less than that of other remodeling projects such as carpeting or painting. You simply get more “bang” for your buck for the money and time spent.
The advantages of polyurethane moldings over traditional wood crown are:
- Light weight and easy to install.

- Large collection of sizes. Our PCr molding series are available in a huge range of sizes. Whether you are remodeling a bathroom, bedroom or great-room, you will find a size to fit the proportion of your living space. Our plain crown moldings vary from just less than three inches high to almost ten inches high as measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the crown moulding. You will certainly not find this many sizes and profiles at your local lumber yard.
- Many profiles to choose from. We are confident that you will not find a larger selection of profiles than these. Our profiles emulate classic lines and traditional motifs.
- Urethane crown moldings are pre-primed and ready to paint.
Installation Installation for polyurethane crown mouldings is similar to that of wood moldings. The exception is that polyurethane moldings are”laid-up” with adhesive caulking. A few finish nails are required to hold the moldings until the adhesive cures. After the glue cures use a putty for the holes and painter’s caulk for joints and where the molding contacts the wall and ceiling. Sand the joints as you would wood moldings
