There is no better way to embellish a living space than with crown moulding. The cost of materials as well as the cost of installation crown moulding is, more often than not, less than that of other remodeling projects such as carpeting or painting. There is simply more impact for the time and money used.

The advantages of polyurethane moldings over traditional wood crown are:

You will certainly not find this many sizes and profiles at your local lumber yard.

• Urethane crown mouldings are pre-primed and ready to paint.

Installation
Installation for polyurethane crown mouldings is comparable to that of wood moldings. The exception is that polyurethane moldings are”laid-up” with construction adhesive. A few finish nails should be used to hold the moldings until the adhesive sets. After the glue cures use a putty for the holes and painter’s caulk for joints and where the molding contacts the wall and ceiling. Sand the joints as you would wood moldings
