One of the best ways to update a kitchen is to update the kitchen cabinets.  Most people, though, put it off because they envision ripping out everything and starting from scratch.  What many do not realize is that updating the kitchen cabinets is not as difficult (or expensive) as you might think.  Often replacing the doors and painting is all that is needed to make you cabinets sparkle.  In many communities there are companies that specialize in cabinet doors and can make a fine raised panel door inexpensively.
