This is a fine kitchen sink bump-out from Boston Home Designs. I like this design element. It adds interest, draws your eye to the fine copper sink. It also enables a bit more space in front and behind the sink (or a larger sink). The 3/4 island legs are an interesting visual element as well as the counter bump out. I once built cabinetry with this same bump out except that we used a fluted pilasters instead of turned island legs.
