This interesting and LARGE Victorian corbel has found a new home.  It is probably that the original Victorian house has made way for a new development.  At least the beautiful parts have been kept in tact to see another day and provide enjoyment for some.  I used to build furniture for a company in New Orleans that salvaged lots of Victorian millwork which they sold to people just like this. We occasionally re purposed brackets, corbels and ginger bread molding in furniture (tables and the like) . Image from skblanks'
