I previously wrote about the large size of the stairway footprint and the interesting use by one homeowner of using drawers under the stair treads of the first two or three treads. In that case, the riser was used as the drawer front and pulled out to reveal a drawer. But in the case of this post, I wanted to cite an interesting "stair-book shelf" combination in England that some enterprising and creative designer came up with.
